How to Reduce Baggage Weight While Travelling

Airlines are increasingly making travelers pay extra for things that used to be included in the ticket price. One of the most costly add-ons in recent years is hefty charges for checked baggage.Naturally, the new rules, the light travel much sense, and could lead to significant savings for the intelligent software compression. Some simple rules can keep money in their pocket, and society.
Make sure that you understand your carrier's baggage guidelines and charges before starting to pack. Each airline is different and the rules are constantly changing.

- Always weigh your bags before heading to the airport. With airlines charging a hundred dollars or more for just a few extra pounds, it isn't worth trusting to luck.

- Make sure the bag doesn't exceed size requirements. The same penalties can apply to over-sized as overweight, and that extra inch can prove to be expensive.

- Remember that there are also rules for size and weight of carry-on bags. Exceeding these limits could result in having to check your carry-on, meaning having to pay for an extra checked bag.

- If you are traveling with someone, distribute the weight evenly. Inevitably one partner prefers to travel light, while the other one wants to take everything in the house.

-Travel with lightweight clothing, shoes and accessories. Stick to clothes that can be washed and dried overnight, as fewer will be needed.

- Don't pack heavy items (like hairdryers or irons) that most hotels now provide for free.

-The simplest way to keep your baggage costs down, is to keep asking yourself if you really need it. If the answer is no, then don't pack it!
